Nameri National Park

Nameri Park is a national park in foothills of eastern Himalayas in Sonitpur District of Assam. Nameri shares its northern boundary with Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal. Nameri park was declared as reserve forest. Nameri National park is superb elephant country and was considered to be an elephant reserve.
